Abstract: 1100 A. Introduction

Waste minimization and disposal are part of integrated hazardous materials management. It is important to become familiar with regulations regarding the use and disposal of hazardous materials before their purchase, storage, and use for water and wastewater analysis. The proper management of hazardous and radioactive materials reduces the amount of hazardous waste and associated disposal costs.
